Four Seasons, Westlake Village, California

Following the success of the Inaugural Invitational, the 2015 event was held at the 5 Diamond Four Seasons Resort, Westlake Village. The Four Seasons 20 acres of lush grounds set the backdrop to vintage automobiles from prominent museums, collectors and notable celebrities.

 

From the motor vehicle enthusiast to the celebrating Irish, this annual event had a bit of appeal for everyone. Some of the highlights included the Mullin Museum’s 1931 Bugatti Type 54 Roadster once owned by Prince Lobkowicz of the Czech Republic, 1948 Delahaye "Narval" 135M Figoni et Falaschi, 1939 BMW 328 Touring Spyder, 1910 Simplex 50HP Toy Tonneau and 1991 Lamborghini Model 291 Formula One car. Some of the other vehicles of interest where Caroll O'Connor's (All in the Family) 1961 Maserati 3500GT, 1964 Jaguar E-type Semi-Lightwieght, as well as former “Concours Best of Show” winners including a 1933 Packard 12 Convertible Coupe and a 1966 Ferrari 275 GTS. Other exhibitions included european micro cars such as the '58 Messerschmitt Roadster and '58 Gogomobile Pez Van, and modern exotics including Bugatti, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Ferrari .

 

In honor of St. Paddy’s Day, the entertainment included Celtic music, food and faire. Shawna Seline, award-winning harpist for over 20 years, played alongside Eric Rigler, described as “the most recorded piper of all time” (Braveheart and Titanic).  America’s Teaching Zoo from Moorpark College had an animal demonstration that included Medieval Birds of Prey.  A special Irish menu designed by Four Seasons executive chef Jesse Hansen, was available throughout the event.
